Aaron is endorsed by Governor Beshear and a strong supporter of his Better Kentucky Plan to strengthen the state's economy. An overwhelming majority of voters in the 65th district voted to re-elect Governor Beshear. Aaron is ready to stand with Governor Beshear in Frankfort to help him build strong communities in every corner of the Commonwealth.
Aaron stands with the majority of Kentuckians in opposing extreme abortion bans imposed by Republicans in Frankfort. He will work to repeal Kentucky's extreme, no-exceptions abortion ban and restore women's reproductive freedoms. Women and their doctors should be in charge of their healthcare decisions, not the government. He believes everyone should have access to vital reproductive health care services, including the option of safe and legal abortion. Prioritizing an individual's health above all else, Aaron is committed to defending everyone's right to make their own healthcare choices without restrictive government interference.
Aaron opposes giving taxpayer money to out-of-state corporations to run charter schools. Strong Public Schools are essential to fulfilling Kentucky's commitment to its people. Every child, regardless of where they live, should have access to the highest quality education possible. We must ensure that our public schools are fully funded. Aaron believes we can and must do better for our children, our educators, and our Commonwealth.
Aaron will stand up to Frankfort politicians who pledged to take away healthcare from over 600,000 Kentuckians and will work to ensure all Kentuckians have access to quality, affordable healthcare. This includes addressing mental health and the opioid crisis and bringing down the cost of prescription medicines.
Aaron will work for us -- not corporate lobbyists and wealthy campaign donors who rig the system against Kentucky Families.
